Hello,
I use DVDProfier PC App (Windows 11) and on my iPhone the IOS App.
Since I updated my iPhone to IOS 26.1, I can't update the local database on m iPhone.
I always receive "Unable to connect".

My iPads (still on IOS 18) are still able to connect to my PC Database (the same laptop i use with my iPhone before) and update the data So the PC hasn't changed.

Do you have an idea or any solution to fix the problem on IOS 26.1. I think, it is a conection problem only with the new IOS.

Thank you i advance for your help.

Best regards
Klaus

Others have reported that Profiler works with iOS 26 on their iPhones. I have not seen anyone mentioning problems with 26.1. Hopefully we can hear from someone else who had upgraded.

And, for what it’s worth, Profiler works fine on my iPad with iPadOS 26.1. No connection errors.
My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users.

Usually when I'm unable to connect, it's because the IP address on the bottom of the desktop PC has changed. I have to change the server address on my phone (Android) to match the desktop PC address.
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

I also find this is the main reason you can't connect

I also had an error connecting yesterday that was cleared up when I did a Database Repair.
