| | Posted: | | | | I agree With you FunkyLA. I have seen a signficant Slow down in the network version over 2.5. Very Sad. Becuase I like to watch a DVD and play in Profiler to cross reference actors and such. But Ken has done a Wonderful job with this version and I sure that Improvments will come  |

IOW how do you view it?
Does that means with each addition you have to update the remote database? Network performance is slow, particularly with big collections. But it does work. Yes, you do have to install the program on each computer. However.... I have tried running the program directly on the server using VNC. This fixes the performance problems, and works quite well. The only big downside is that the DVD drive it uses is on the server, not the local machine. | | | | Last edited: by johnd |
