These days you have a lot of "crew" that are in movies or actors that move on to do "crew" work esp. directors or producers. While I find this useful I would still like to be able to only see roles  . I don't want cast and crew combined (displayed seperate in DVDP as it is now) just the listing of names (cast and crew database as one database) and them to be able to give both cast roles and crew roles to a person and have them link so it I click on someone in a movie it will list things like Movie A was Actor Dude and Movie B as director. And yes, this could bring up BY more often and because they two DB would be combined and would take some time and effort to completely straighten out. Not suer if I am misunderstanding what you are saying or not...

But in the long run I think it would greatly improve DVD Profiler. yeah, sorry if i made it hard to understand what i'm saying  What i meant was a reply to this "so it I click on someone in a movie it will list things like Movie A was Actor Dude and Movie B as director". While i want that functionality too i would still want an option to switch to the "old" behaviour where it only shows the other cast roles if i double-click on an actor in the cast list instead of cast+crew like you suggested | | | | - Jan |
