Exchange rate is now at 1 USD = 0.4986 GBP, the lowest it's been for 21 years. 

It's like the US has turned into Canada or something

Which is great so long as 1) that's the rate the Post Office use and 2) you make sure orders are less than £18 at that rate (and make sure the retailer sends them separately!)

I recently saw the report from someone who's order was calculated at £18.01... the VAT (which is charged on the £18.01 PLUS the delivery) plus the new raised charge from the Post Office meant that for that 1p that it went over the limit it cost him £12.04 extra for a total of £30.05 

For one offs and non-huge-boxsets it is good news for us though
