I know nearly all tin foil is now aluminum foil, so does aluminum provide protection from both radiation and mind-controlling/mind-reading beams as well as (or worse than or better than) the original tinfoil?

I realize that skull caps are easiest to create, but wouldn't a baseball cap be nearly as easy to make and offer eye shade (or back of neck shade if that's how you prefer to wear your billed caps)? Has anyone attempted to make the tinfoil hat into a Tilly hat shape, offering an area where your head can sweat/cool off, as well as shade for the face, the ears, and the neck?

Chicken wire covered with foil might double the protection, and allow some radical shapes... perhaps stealth flat-plane surfaces might reflect the rays directly back to their source!

-----

After getting nabbed for three speeding tickets (during street racing), a high school buddy of mine decide to fight the radar guns with WWII anti-radar jamming technology. He took eight rolls of tinfoil, cutting all into 1 inch to 4 inch squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, elipses, parallelograms, crescents, and various other random shapes. He placed them in a few cardboard boxes in the back seat of his roadster and went speeding off. While engaged in some high speed joyful driving along Skyline Boulevard, near where two of his radar trap tickets were issued, his girlfriend opened the boxes, and let the tinfoil countermeasures fly. They covered a good mile before the flying tin pieces were totally distributed.

Within a very few minutes, his roadster was surrounded by county sheriff cars and CHP units, both cruisers and cycles, with their officers getting out and drawing many guns upon him and his girl. As he rose (hands up) from the Model B, he overheard one of the officers ask loudly, "Where are the other 10,000 speeders?"
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
