Just upgraded from v2.4 to v3.0 - didn't realise the company etc had changed as hadn't visited the website for a while !!!
Anybody got a suggestion for a similar app for CDs ? Would be nice to also retire my CD spreadsheet...

If this question is asked so often as some claim, why not make a sticky/pinned thread for it, or add it to the support database - rather than bitching each time it is asked !!!

I knew a guy in to big band music and back in 1980 when the first IBM pc came out he was useing a dataebase program of spreadsheet to kep tack of his reel and reel collection of music.
I have a 250gb hd full of music myself. |

This is by far the single most asked question and is frequently one of the very first posts newbies make, I did it myself 7 years ago. We are simply teasing and having some fun with the user, this question can be answered without ever even asking by simply searching on CD, or by manually looking through the first several pages of the forum. I used to use an Apple 2-E computer from 1985 to 1993 where I typed in all my Video Tape titles / video format (Beta-VHS-LD / speed / audio/ year produced/ratings/ Directors and the Main first five cast members only/catalogue numbering re:shelving, all of this viewable on a 13inch green screen monitor, and all on 5.25 inch floppy discs.. The discs could only hold about 160 KB (!),, so I had a raft of these floppies in a shoe box with discs either from A to K and L to M.., etc etc.. Ah the old days.. Couldn't share it on re: WWWeb but was constantly printing out reams of one sided 'pinwheeled' perferated 8x11 paper to compare visually and make adjustments everyday, Just like I do here on Profiler.. My new PC I am currently using now has two 160 GB drives.
