| Posted: | | | | The credit block on the back cover lists this as John Carpenter's "The Thing"; therefore, the possessive is not part of the DVD title. Additionally, this title is specifically mentioned in the rules as "The Thing." There is no cause to use Original Title either. The rules say: "Use the title from the copyright notice if available, otherwise from the film's credits. " The copyright notice on the back cover says John Carpenter's "The Thing" and the film credits present the possessive and title on separate screens; therefore, the DVD title has not changed from the original feature title. | Posted: | | | | Existing scans are too blue and too light. Examine the UPC of the old scan, the background should be white but is blue. Optimized for the new cover size thresholds. Removed Anthony Cecere and Kent Hays as they are not listed in the end credits and were not marked as uncredited. Evaluate this contribution |
