Hi there, bear with me as I haven't posted much here at all, so I may need some guidance.  I cataloged my DVD collection and completely forgot about my "Freaks and Geeks" Yearbook Edition, which I store separately as it doesn't fit my DVD shelves.  I tried entering it into Profiler but it doesn't seem to be listed.  Additionally, I haven't been able to find a UPC for this particular edition.

Does anyone else have this edition?  If so, how do they catalog it in Profiler?

I suppose I could add the regular edition to my collection, but there are the 2 additional DVDs included in the Yearbook Edition that aren't listed in Profiler either.

I'm nowhere near as experienced a contributor to handle such a daunting prospect of uploading it myself, but I can try if it's deemed necessary.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I think the problem is that I don't think we can currently add it to the online database. There is no UPC we can use and the disc ID of the first disc is already taken up by the child profile for the normal release.
The best I can suggest is that you download the normal release then adapt it to match your yearbook edition. But currently I can't think of any way you can submit it for the online.
Adding the two extra bonus discs to the online is a bit of a grey area. Some believe we shouldn't as they count them as a bonus disc of a single release. Others believe we can as they cover multiple episodes and class them as multiple titles. It's up to you which way you want to interpret it.

I think that's probably what I'll end up having to do.  I've already put in the "Notes" section (I might have that label wrong, I don't have the program in front of me) that it's the Yearbook Edition.  Will probably include further notes in that section regarding the 2 discs, the specific extras that are on there, etc.  Thanks!

Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

Wow!  You're good!  Thanks!

I might actually be able to do something with this.  I will have to look at the Contribution Rules, but I'm guessing that I'd need to do a "main" listing, then populate with the 6 existing disc ID's?  I would double-check with what they read as when I put them in my DVD-ROM, but I believe the first 6 discs are exactly the same as the 6 discs in the standard edition of the series box set.  I would then need to create disc ID's for the 2 bonus discs and detail the bonus material on there (since there are no actual episodes on these 2 discs).  For the main listing, would I need to re-enter all the cast and crew data and whatnot, for each episode... or is it acceptable to cut-n-paste (if that's even achievable) from the standard edition's profile?

Thanks again for your help, folks!
