| | Posted: | | | | If I remember rightly, DC Comics license out their characters, they don't have a production arm of their company like Marvel. So unless you have a credit that says something like "A DC Comics Production" then they wouldn't get listed in the online database.
Edit: I've just checked Batman Begins and although they get a graphic logo just after Warners at the beginning, they're not listed in the end credits among the distributors and production companies so in this particular case I would say no, they don't get a credit. Generally you're looking for certain phrases:
"A DC Domics Presentation" or "DC Comics Presents" means they're involved in the distribution and so can be listed under studios.
"A DC Comics Production" or a "© DC Comics" (but NOT if it mentions characters) at the end means they were involved in the physical production of the film and again can be listed under studios.
If they're on the back cover of the DVD with something like "Distributed by DC Comics" then it means they were involved with the distribution of the DVD and again can be listed (as long as there's room).
Anything else pretty much doesn't count in terms of studios I'm afraid. |

Television Animation or Warner Bros. Family Entertainment and now Warner Premire. Isn't DC Comic just the company with the Trademark for these characters. |

As for your Superman: Doomsday it must be a different UPC # from mine. I can't see it for voting, based on what I do see it looks like DC Comics is a legitimate Studio in this case, but like I said I can't actually check it right now.
