Further research has shown me that this use of the "credited as" feature is no longer necessary, probably as a result from more and more IMDb-mined data being corrected. Have a look at Invelos' own "credit lookup tool" results: Harold Herthum: 11 titles, Harold G. Herthum: 9 titles (including dozens of incorrect, IMDb-mined 'Forrest Gump' and 'JFK' ones). Foster" (only credited as such once, in this film), not "Steven Foster" (only credited as such in 'Scrooged'), but "Steve Foster" (credited as such in 'Top Gun' and 'Dead Again'). Note that the CLT on face value are absolutely useless in this case because of the many other people named Steve(n) Foster (an actor, a producer, a re-recording mixer, and so on), so I manually went through all of the entries to determine the actual common name for this guy.
