Hi, here my problem. I wanna have a great stereo sound and in the same sound system a great 5.1 or 7.1 sound.

So will it be better to have one pre-amp and one stereo amp with one 5 or 7 channel amp. I connect my main speaker on the stereo amp and all other speaker on the multi channel amp.

Will this be the best setup or this will create a mismatch with the main and others speaker?

Your A/V amp pretty much already does this. Check the user manual and look for "2-Channel" mode. If you don't mind pushing a button, what you want is probably already built in. At least I have that with my Sony. I wonder if other brands have that also?

Some units, like mine, have multiple "zones". Usually, the second zone is stereo only. So if you wanted to have a separate set of stereo speakers in the same or a different room, you can have that also.

Depends on the amp, depends on your ears. Today's equipment is so good, I couldn't imagine that you would hear any difference - that's assuming you are using well accepted name brands of "Home Theater" quality.

Differences in the speaker, room placement and source material will swamp any difference there might be in the amp, given equal power, good cables and name brand.

Without knowing what is available that side of the pond, I think you will find as mediadogg has already stated it will depend on your main A/V amp.

I personally have a Yamaha A/V with everything connected. I have the amp set to reproduce the sound as defined by the input signal. Mono where mono, Stereo where stereo is the input ie from the Record deck (yes I still have my vinyl ( oh the beauty of pure sound)) 5.1 from the DVD and 7.1 from the Blu ray.

Saves keep switching.

Before pulling the trigger on that Anthem Pre\Pro, give a listen to the Integra DHC 9.9. The Integra has a very high quality build and has more features than the Anthem. Oh, and it's less expensive too.

As far as stereo vs multi-channel.... as has already been suggested, it depends on your ears and your bankroll. To make one better (stereo\multi-channell) you will have to make sacrifices on the other because the demands are different.

I'll call you on that
I have recabled my 7.1 setup with Cat6 cable (Cheaper than a lot of "name" brands). And the sound is great. More of the high end is discernable. One speaker per cable, IE Solid 4 to + and Stripy 4 to -. People tend to forget that this cable is rated to allow network traffic upto 100m without loss, and can even do it on PowerOverEthernet networks where 48 volts (Cisco phone) are also sharing the same cable. Or you could go for Cat7, which is rated nearer 200m.

Also tests have been done on various cables, and unless you go for the very very expensive HIGH end cable, the rest are usually about the same quality sound wise.
