Hi,
I want to change from OFDb to DVD Profiler. Is there a Chance to import my Database?
Export on OFDb is not the best. Cant save the EAN-Numbers.

Well, then I'm afraid you are pretty much screwed. DVD Profiler uses EAN/UPC as the primary-key, so entering titles by anything else will get you into trouble down the line.
Can you provide a link to your online-collection, maybe there is something else we could do.

cya, Mithi

hm, the EAN is visible in the right frame, but extracting this for all single Discs might be a bit uncomfortable.
On the other hand you only have 124 titles (at least online) so warm up those fingers, oil the num-pad and away you go.

PS If you wish to import personal data (Purchase Place, Price and so forth) from the OFDb you might want to have a look at the "Migration Assitance" thread. Although I'm not sure if there is a possibility to combine those data-collections.

I took a look. It wouldn't be too hard to automate something, but as Mithi said, with only 124 titles, you can do it just as fast manually. And if I'm not mistaken, there are a bunch of duplicate EAN/UPCs in that list.

Alll you need is a text file of UPCs (copy paste - I did about 5 or 6 in a couple of minutes as a test). Give that text file to either UPC Import plugin, or BulkEdit plugin, or directly to 3.6 Beta, and you can create a database in minutes.
Thanks for your support.

124 titles, that should only be 4 or 5 hours, compared to the migration effort, just enter them.

ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
