| Posted: | | | | Corrected title ("Pick-up" to "Pick-Up") - note that the front cover only uses lowercase letters, so based on that, it would be anyone's guess whether it should be "Pick-up" or "Pick-Up". However, the "credits block" on the back cover clearly shows "The Pick-Up Artist" as the title, so that's what I have now used. David Leigh MacLeod is credited here as David L. Macleod. | Posted: | | | | Corrected cast, exactly as credited, all taken from film credits, using the new "credited as" feature where necessary. All "common names" have been carefully researched: first and foremost by checking against other credits using the NameVariants plugin, followed by a check of the new "credited as" database, a Google search, and finally by checking at various on-line resources like allmovie.com, bfi.org.uk, imdb.com, nndb.com, tcmdb.com and wikipedia.org. | Posted: | | | | The current profile contains a cast entry for "Isabel García Lorca, credited as Isabel Garcia-Lorca". That was correct when I contributed it, but since then the balance in the "credit lookup tool" results has shifted: her"common name" now is simply: Isabel Lorca. Have a look at Invelos' own "credit lookup" tool results: Isabel Lorca: 39 entries, Isabel García Lorca: 25 entries (mostly incorrect IMDb-mined data), Isabel Garcia-Lorca: 25 entries (only two different titles). Since "Isabel Lorca" is the most-credited form, she can simply be entered AS CREDITED into this particular profile. I'll also supply a few sources that confirm that these name variants refer to the same person: - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0305729/ - http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Isabel_Lorca - http://www.moviefone.com/celebrity/isabel-lorca/1810534/main Also, a (very!) minor correction to the overview to match the back cover EXACTLY, removing the not-present space after "score..." in the last line. | Posted: | | | | The current profile contains a cast entry for "Philip Campanaro, credited as Phil Campanaro". Further research has shown me that this use of the "credited as" feature is not necessary - have a look at Invelos' own "credit lookup" tool results: Phil Campanaro: 8 entries, Philip Campanaro: 0 entries - not a single one! Since "Phil Campanaro" is the most-credited form (this is currently his ONLY credit in the database), he can simply be entered AS CREDITED into this particular profile. Further research has shown me that this use of the "credited as" feature is not necessary - have a look at Invelos' own "credit lookup" tool results: Michael 'Smiley' Sessa: 8 entries, Michael Sessa: 1 entries (with still a few incorrect ones among them). Since "Michael 'Smiley' Sessa" is the most-credited form, he can simply be entered AS CREDITED into this particular profile. | Posted: | | | | From the newly updated rules: Quote: For English titles, capitalize all words except "a", "an", "and", "as", "at", "but", "by", "for", "in", "it", "nor", "of", "on", "or", "the", "to", "up", and "with". Exception: Capitalize any word that is the first, last, or only word in the title. Since "up" is now part of that list, it can no longer be capitalized. Evaluate this contribution |
