| | Posted: | | | | So, for some reason both my database and backup were completely deleted. I've un-installed DVD Profiler and reinstalled it and now have an empty program sat in front of me. It's going to be a real pain re-entering my 550+ titles, so is there a way I can scan the bar-codes of the DVD's rather than entering them all manually, I think it'd save me a lot of time.
Once it's done I intend to backup my new database on an external hard-drive so this doesn't happen again.
Thanks for the help. Also just for the record I intend to buy the full version of the program in January when I finally have some cash again. |

Well, if you have an Android-Smartphone: there is an app named "barcode2file" which, as the name suggests, reads UPC and stores them in a plain-text-file.
