I added the parent profile with no collection number and appeared before collection number 1.  I added a child to the parent profile and the child went under the parent profile with a collection number of 515 but still before collection number 1.  I cleared filters, but this did not help.  I closed DVDP and reopened and it sorted correctly that time.

I've been seeing this, too: it doesn't always take a full close-and-re-open to make the box sort properly, but I haven't yet figured out exactly what I'm doing to make it go to the right place.

I too have had this, I just move to another tab (all, ordered or wishlist) then move back again.

Steve

Edit.
Also happens when moving a profile over from ordered or wishlist, will place new item at top of the tree so to speak.
