I'm new to the forum and the program (very nice program by the way), I just downloaded it yesterday and while I was compiling my owned list I stumbled on something that, to me, seems rather strange. I have the Sleepy Hollow blu-ray (european version since I'm italian) ean 8-033109-394338, but the function "Add by UPC" for that code has Die Hard, and checking it's back cover scan this movie has, in fact, the same ean. How's that possible? Weren't such codes supposed to be unique?  Anyway I added Sleepy Hollow by title, so no problem, but I was just wondering if such things are common. |

What you can do, is:
Check if the Die Hard profile is in the Italy locality. If not. Simply uncheck "Download from Invelos" and select Italy as locality.
If Die Hard is in fact in the Italy locality, you can still use the DiscId, if you have a Blu-ray drive in your PC.
Simply enter the disc and select "Add by Disc" in the "Add DVD" dialog. | | | Karsten

Do you mean that DVD or BD exist, which share the same UPC/EAN, or that one of the entry in the database has the wrong UPC/EAN? |

It does seem to be more common outside the US for some reason. When it occurs the second title can only be processed via disc id. Why this happens I have no idea, theories maybe but... | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!

Both discs are the italian versions AND from the same publisher, Cecchi Gori Home Video.
