| Posted: | | | | Hello. I am looking for the Image Entertainment DVD release on the "Euroshock Collection" label. I am wondering if the title was even ever released. I have all of the titles in that collection but that one. I know there are better versions of the film out there. I have them. I would just like to have that release of it with the Euroshock banner on the top. It never appears on eBay and is listed as "Currently Unavailable" on Amazon and has been for years. Any help or information would be appreciated. Oh, and just because something is pictured on a site for sale, does not mean that is the item. I have received two versions of the film on dvd that were not the correct version where I ordered from a seller using the Euroshock picture. I don't understand how people can not post the correct image with what they are selling. Thank you! | | | The (television) screen has become the retina of the mind's eye. -Prof. Brian O'blivion |

| Posted: | | | | That disc does exist, I remember seeing them in Border's when they came out. I wanted it but passed as the ones I saw had no slipcover, the very first ones had a cool lenticular slip. Plus Borders was full retail, so too expensive there. I ended up just keeping my German "Nightmare Concert" dvd as I hardly ever watch it anyway. What other versions were you getting/seeing? I wonder if it got re-issued without the banner maybe? The one I have can be seen at UPC# 4038637227176. From all I know it's supposed to uncut but is a weird ratio, like 1.5:1 or so, so it's not really WS or FS. If you're region free and want this one for whatever reason, feel free to PM me an offer on it. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

| Posted: | | | | That is the Barrel/Grindhouse release of the title. I do have that and it is uncut and a good print as well. I've gotten that version twice when I have ordered what was listed as the Euroshock release of the title. Again. I have the actual movie a couple of different ways, import and domestic. I love the movie. I am looking for this particular release simply to fill a hole in an otherwise complete collection. But I am having my doubts that it was ever released at all as the gentleman below stated. And if that is truly the case, then my collectin IS complete. | | | The (television) screen has become the retina of the mind's eye. -Prof. Brian O'blivion |

| Posted: | | | | Found it at Amazon.com. It's only interesting for collectors though. The price is 190 U$ | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Must have gone up recently. Wow. $190. I do want to complete my collection, but that may be a bit steep. lol. It is really weird, though, that there aren't more out there. If that is actually the correct DVD being sold. You would think eBay and Amazon would have more than just that one. I'm going to drop the guy a note and make sure that is what the item actuallly looks like. thanks for the heads up!!! | | | The (television) screen has become the retina of the mind's eye. -Prof. Brian O'blivion |

Cat in the Brain All Regions Released: 3/31/2009 Anamorphic 1.66 I stand corrected. I thought the Barrel one had the Euroshock banner, but doesn't and I've only seen the Barrell disc in stores. The other could be urban legend, anyone wanna gamble $200 to find out? Those reviews sure sound like they are for the other version to me. I can't ever recall an Image disc with a hologram cover, they were all snapper cases! 2 of the reviews on page 1 mention Grindhouse. Hey, the one we know exists is from Grindhouse Releasing. Other reviews speak of disc 2, I doubt the Image even exists, and if it does, it's probably not anamorphic and much worse than the Barrell/Grindhouse one you own. Old reviews (pre-2007) moan about no dvd being available, new reviewes speak of the new dvd, I'm willing to bet this never came out at all from Image. Was probably supposed to and mentioned in press ads, but that's it. Did you get the slipcover with your Barrell version at least? | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

Did you get the slipcover with your Barrell version at least? If you mean the Amazon reviews, they usually lump them all in together from various editions and it can get really confusing. I don't know why they still never have fixed that. The Grindhouse (Barrell?) DVD came with a 3-D Lenticular cover. I remember back when it came out somebody on the HorrorDVDS forum posting they got two slightly different Lenticular covers. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I know it was released; I had it at one time and sold it on eBay when I upgraded to the Barrel version; the Image version was already going for big bucks at that time. But if I recall correctly (and it's been ten years or so), Image had the license for a very short time so it became a sought after item by those who like Eurotrash. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |
