| | Posted: | | | | Here is what I updated/changed: - Case Type: I added the Slip Cover - Features: I added the trailers, since on disc 1 it has Shout! Factory's Trailer Park and shows various trailers for their DVDs. - Crew: I added episode dividers and listed crew as per credits. For Steve Jay and Jim West they were credited "Additional Music By," and so I credited them as song writers, since they do co-write songs with Al on the albums. Also Al is credited as Al Yankovic in the crew credits and I used common name of "Weird Al" Yankovic to link other credits together. - Cast: I added episode dividers. I also added the credits as how they appear in the show. I credited "Weird Al" as Al, since everyone calls him that, plus its a fictional version of Al, so I didn't credit him as "Himself." For Patton Oswalt, who is credited as Patton P. Oswalt, I used the common name feature. In the episode "The Time Machine" Al's band performs at the end of show, but is not credited, so I used the Uncredited feature and alphabetized them per rules. | | Posted: | | | | Common Name: Clement von Franckenstein [Clement von Franchenstein] Credit lookup 246 profiles : 1 profile (this one) verified myself visually that the guy who plays "Daddy" in the "Mummy and Daddy" skit is the actor usually credited as "Clement von Franckenstein" (he was the character "von Aigner" in the computer game "Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within" which I played through countless times about 10 years ago). As the credits are in all-caps I corrected also the CreditedAs to lower case "von" (his name is of Austrian/German ancestry. His birth name is "Clement George Freiherr von und zu Franckenstein"). | | Posted: | | | | Noticed something else: As a previous contributor has correctly written "Also Al is credited as Al Yankovic in the crew credits and I used common name of "Weird Al" Yankovic to link other credits together." But the current credits do not reflect this but do it the other way around, i.e. setting "Al Yankovic" as common name and "Weird Al" Yankovic as creditedAs. I have corrected this. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |
