I've said it before and I'll say it again - absolutely marvellous product.

Could you please include the Polish zloty as one of the currencies I can amend the SRP to, as I have a few Polish DVDs and obviously we have to keep the locality of the disc and the SRP the same.

Cheers!

But in near future zlotys are to be replaced with euros.

My thoughts exactly. It would be wiser to do the SRPs in Euros already (although I don't know if the Polish exchange rate is already available), then to add a currency that's going to be obsolote soon.

Only makes for double work...

But... what about the ten years during which Polish DVDs had an SRP in zlotys (awesome word btw)? A profile should always carry the original SRP, if for Poland that means zlotys then that should be available, even if in the future they go Euro.

They are converted to euros with the exchange rate (which doesnt change once its tied to euro).

I don't think there's any use in tracking a former currency. Especially with the Euro and it's fixed exchange rate, everything is just converted once and then displayed in Euro. That's the same it's done in all other European contries having the Euro so far.

What about the 6 year period when we bought our DVDs in deutsch mark?

The SRP is tracked, it says nowhere which currency it has to be in.

But I'm going to Poland tomorrow, I'll be buying some DVDs while I'm there (in Zlotys and groszy, I might add), so when I get back to the UK I'll have to input them into DVD Profiler 3 as if I'd paid for them in Euros.

Like Nadja said, seems reasonable to put the original payment currency against the DVD that's been purchased, I would have thought...

You wouldn't change the amount of an SRP if it changes over time; I don't see why you would change the currency, given the choice.

And groszy is just an awesome a word as zloty! Polish looks like a language worth learning!

Then we need all old European currencies back in DVDP. Maybe we need a poll on this
