iPad and iPhone scanner stops

I have DVD Profiler v 2.02 on iOS 7.02 and discovered that I can only scan about 5 items before the scanner becomes unresponsive. It will load a sixth time after about 15 seconds, but a seventh time will be a very long time. I've found my work-around to be killing the app and reloading after the fifth scan.

Hello this is the same problem that I have. I am glad my scans are not lost after I have to shut the app down.  I hope this feature will be fixed soon.

I just purchased and installed DVD Profiler, version 2.0.2, on my iPad Air with 128 GB and running iOS 7.0.4. The program freezes (with no other programs running) when I select "Add to Collections" then select "Add by UPC" and then select "Scan Barcode" about 3 to 6 times to add multiple movies to my local database. This is fairly expensive as iPad apps go to be so unstable.

I have used this program for years on my PC and I trust the maker of this app that he will come out with a fix.  I still give this App high marks as it does everything that I want it to do.  I own both the PC, iPad and iPhone apps.  I love being able to sync between all my devices.  With this app I wont have to worry about buying duplicate movies again.

I look forward to future upgrades.  This app is still the best deal for the money.  I have tried the other apps out there and this is still the best for me for the support and features that it offers.

I have this problem too, and it's very annoying.  Is there any word of a fix?  Any word from the publisher of this app?  This really decreases the usability of the app.

To followup on my comment, this is a repeatable, reliable bug.  It happens every time to me just as described in the first post.  The hardest bugs to fix are the intermittent ones.  The bugs that don't always occur.

This bug is reliable, just like old faithful.  Really, it should be fixed already.

BTW, I'm running an iPhone 4S, the current version of the app, IOS version 7.0.4

That Problem probably will never be fixed. 
But it is possible to use another Scan App instead of the Build in Version.
Just install an App, like woabi and profiler will ask You if you want to use an external App for Scanning.
