My new problem is I can't get this way of connecting to work

I followed the setup for Wi-Fi
Test Succeeded but after I press "Update" it doesn't go past Connecting

Is there something I'm missing

Are you trying to connect by using computer name or IP address? For some reason, there seems to be issues when using computer name, but using the IP address works much better. You can find the IP address on the bottom of the program window on your computer.

As Eagle said.
In addition: Make sure the main program is running on your PC.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Do you have "Sharing" enabled on your DVDProfiler (Windows) installation?

Next step:
Check if computer and Android-Device are in the same subnet
The computer's IP-adress can be seen in the bottom bar of DVDProfiler (e.g. 192.168.178.xxx)
The IP-adress of your Android-device can be found in menu "Settings -> Info -> Status" and should only differ from the one of your computer on the numbers of the last block.

If they are not located in the same subnet you'll need to do some router-configuration.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Is WiFi switched on, on:
a) Your Android Device?
b) Your router?

If the answer is Yes:
Does the WiFi-symbol show on your Android device's info bar (top of screen)?

If "No":
a) locate device next to router and check if connection works now
b) try to re-connect device and router by re-entering the connection-data (network-key).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I think I found the problem, under Wi-Fi it says my network on my phone has an "Authentication Problem"

I found my router manual here:

Quoting Orici:

"Authentication Problem"

These usually occur because of a typo in the network-key.
So simply delete the WiFi-profile on your Android-device and re-configure it.

On your router make sure that it allows new clients to be connected by WiFi.
