I am new to DVD Profiler and bought the PC version and iOS version. I scanned a few DVDs with my phone for practice and have a small list already started. I will probably start over with a fresh list.

Here’s where I’m at and would like some directions.

I own a Sony 400 disc player with disks in slots 1-373. I have stacked up all of the DVD cases in the exact order they are in the slots of the DVD player. I want to start scanning the UPCs in that order but have a couple questions.

What is the difference between slots and Collection #? If I start fresh and scan in order from 1-400, will the collection # automatically generate for each corresponding slot? I have a few box sets and fear the UPC will only log 1 Collection # and miss the corresponding slots. Is this correct? If so, how can I keep the slot # and collection # the same?
