I have want to try to use my VGPXL1B3 to either auto-rip or auto-copy the the iso's of DVDs.  Has anybody done this and can point me in the right direction?  I am happy to pay for software or consult if needed.

Thanks!

See the utility called "mediaChanger" at www.mediadogg.com. It is free. There is an old thread at AVSFORUM.com with a discussion of ripping.

It has been a long time, but I believe that the package comes with a sample script for ripping CDs.

The biggest problem with a script for ripping ISOs is detecting when the process is done, so you can proceed to the next one, and even more difficult - handling errors.

The easiest way is to use the mediachanger fixed delay method and don't worry about the time. Just set it and forget it, and don't sit and watch it - it will drive you crazy.

Also note that LoadDVD and LoadDVD Pro also have the ability to control the VGPXL1B1/2/3.

I have also done custom scripts, by contract, in the past. PM me for that option.
Thanks for your support.
