| | Posted: | | | | I tried everything i can read, followed the instructions online on how to set up the connection between the both and nothing works i keep getting the error of "Microsoft Mobile Device Manager needs to be installed and running" and im putting the password, port, and IP and nothing works.
I need help with this. I need to update the phone but i do not want to lose my collection, to big for me to do it all over again. |

Do you see any connection shown on the bottom of your DVD Profiler Desktop application?
On Windows, do a Run - cmd command to get the command prompt to appear. Then do an ipconfig command to see the IP of your PC. In the DVD Profiler Sharing section, note the port number and enter that and the IP into your iPhone application setup. You might have firewalls or router in place, so you may need to allow the designated port number incoming and outgoing connections. I'm sure others here can offer more suggestions. |
