| Posted: | | | | Can we make custom coverart for childs if there is no individual coverart?
Can't see the rules as is now, say not to. (Or am I confused)
To get more spesific:
I provided coverart for a box set that have some text for each individual DVD and a litle "thumb" picture that shows the original coverart.
I found the original coverart in big size and provided this as front cover for each child and took the text side as back cover.
I my self think it got pretty neat, but got several no voters (well actualy some) so I withdraw and kept it lokal...
What do YOU think? Any rule gurus out there?

| Posted: | | | | If the children are in their own case with their own cover art then you can (and should) sub that cover art.
If they are not packaged separately then the cover art for the main profile is what should be used for all of the child profiles per the rules. |

Ole Not for Contribution. Any such Cover Art would expose the Porgram and Invelos to same kin of fate that befell DVDCoverArt.com. What you choose to do locally of course if up to you. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | Custom art was maybe a dumb word... It is a larger version of the "thumb" provided in the box set for each disc. (but it is a digipack not individual packed) and may I say that the rules are a litle bit vage, remember it to be more strict erlier? "Create individual profiles for each movie in these Box Sets. Use individual UPCs if they are available or use Disc ID (read on a DVD-ROM) if not. Create each of these individual profiles in line with the standard Contribution Rules with one exception - Cover Images. If a film is individually packaged, use the cover images from that packaging." But I have stoped the contribution and made it Local, was just to eager to share... love to share.. Ole | | | We are all at the same age, only at different time... |

| Posted: | | | | There is nothing wrong with sharing what you have done that can't go into the database... just make a thread and post the images in there for anyone that might want the images. | | | Pete |

Skip Well I thougt it was by the rules Again custom was a dumb choise of word... This is what it looks like in the box: and this is what I provided as a front cover using the picture over as back (this is the same cover as individal profiles) Not that custom | | | We are all at the same age, only at different time... |
