| Posted: | | | | I am going through the new Batman: Gotham Knight DVD and working on cast and crew and noticed something I hadn't seen before, and I wanted to get other opinions on how to format the credits Based on the screen capture above, how should I enter the credits? 1) What I initially thought Jason Marsden as Thomas Wayne/ Doctor 2) After noticing that Kevin Conroy is credited as Batman/Bruce Wayne Jason Marsden as Thomas Wayne Jason Marsden as Doctor 3) As a literalist would do, but I would never do Jason Marsden as Thomas Wayne Jason Marsden[ ] as Doctor | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by cmaeditor |

| Posted: | | | | I think the only reason Kevin Conroy is credited that way is because Batman and Bruce Wayne are the same character but the others are playing multiple characters. How you go ahead is up to you: there is no right way of doing it. But I agree that "Jason Marsden[ ] as Doctor" is not right. But I see no problems with: Jason Marsden as Thomas Wayne Jason Marsden as Doctor
At least that keeps them on separate lines just as in the end credits. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm probably going to do choice 2, after thinking on it and the comments here. Out of curiosity, I decided to see if you can do a blank space for a credited as, and it doesn't seem to work anyway. Thanks for the input. | | | Chris |

My initial thought was that it had something to do with spacing, but after studying all the possibilities involved there it doesn't appear to have anything to do with spacing. I don't know what they were up to, but i agree I think #2 is your answer.

| Posted: | | | | I think north was dead on when he mentioned that this was their way of showing voice actors doing separate characters. Its certainly not unusual for voice actors to do multiple characters in a given cartoon. |

| Posted: | | | | I've seen other DVD releases from DC and Warner in which the same actor is credited with 2 different character roles like much like Kevin Conroy is in the screen capture above. | | | Chris |

Skip I didn't think it was that confusing. The Kevin Conroy credit simply illustrates that the single character goes by two different names. Not much different than Adam West playing both Bruce Wayne and Batman, since they are the same person. The other credits illustrate that they are indeed separate characters, likely with completely different voice inflections. |
