| Posted: | | | | So much new to play with..... Anyway, just a few quick issues discovered so far (maybe there should be a generic bug thread?) 1. When editing images, each new session always jumps to C:\ when "open" is used... previous versions remembered the last location. (much easier for me as I don't store my scans library on C, nor directly off the root... quite a nuisance to go through 8 clicks for each image update.) 2. A minor display bug on the "Change UPC" window... is anyone else seeing the background around the buttons missing, so clipping the text after "current disc"? This is on a W2K SP4, DirectX 9.0C, display 1024x768 w/normal 96 dpi system font. Image cap: 3. Image resizing always on: is there any way to change this behavior? (HQ Resize in Options doesn't seem to have any effect) I.e. when you click the cover scans to enlarge, previous rev allowed the option to scale to window, or leave original size. Current aways resizes to window and can only be viewed in it's native form in the editing window. Back to rebuilding the master Db... ! | | | Last edited: by Cyclograph |

| Posted: | | | | Here's a couple more. 1. The View Flagged add-in was acting strange earlier. The scroll bar went down below the list window. I could move through all the entried with the arrow keys, but I couldn't drag the slider to the bottom (or I couldn't see it being dragged). I can't duplicate it. 2. The View Flagged add-in again. The first entry in the list is empty, but it displays data below. 3. This one is lots of fun. Open Charts and Graphs. Click on one of the chart types on the right. Use your mouse wheel to scroll that list up and down. Instead of scrolling through all the chart types, it scrolls the data points of the currently selected chart (the axis don't move). It's very strange. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. | | | Last edited: by Mark Harrison |

| Posted: | | | | One that might be a bug...
I'm restoring my database into the new v3.0, and the little window that shows "Restoring profile, etc / Overall" doesn't go into the background like the program does, and like it did in 2.4x | | | Last edited: by Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | Restored my 2.5.0Beta database 1: It tells me I have 6 unconverted UPC but when I load the flag set it displays only 5 2: I change the UPC for the first 1 and my collection is no longer sorted by Flags 3: Clicking the "Sort" button makes no difference, the small arrows in it changes direction but nothing happens in the list of titles. 4: I can no longer use the Left/Right arrows keys to open/close box set (I'm a keyboard person, I try to avoid the mouse as much as possible). Things I like. 1: New look 2: Dockable/Moveable panels 3: Keyboard shortcuts to the different sections when editing a profile (I'm a keyboard person, I try to avoid the mouse as much as possible ) 4: Overall speed, browsing my collection is much faster 5: Multiple Database 6: Collection Gallery (Not sure I have a use for it but it's cool) 7: The subtitle bugs in the report is fixed | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W |

| Posted: | | | | When trying to edit cover scans, The program goes to the scanner and scans the cover, but then the cover does not go to the program to crop and save to the DVD.

| Posted: | | | | Tom, after that happens take a look at the ProfileOld.xml and ProfileNew.xml. Do a compare and let me know what's different.
Edit: You'll find these files in C:\ since I left that bit of debug code in accidentally. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

Strange thing is happening. Before, it really happened each time. Now, after a restart of Profiler, it doesn't happen anymore. I had another not reproducable problem just now. I clicked on "Credits" in the About Box and nothing happened. But I couldn't do anything anymore. I had to kill the Profiler process. I assume, that when it happened, that the Acknowledment window disappeared behind the About-Splash and therefore I couldn't see and close it. | | |

| Posted: | | | | Another small bug: When adding Disc IDs, if I forget to press the add disc-button first and just press Set, I get an access violation. The program keeps running, though... | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson) |

| Posted: | | | | Couple more... Box Sets: not possible to remove all contents. E.g. I have custom children on some profiles that for contribution purposes shouldn't exist, but after removing all contents the change is not saved. I can make changes to the quantity of children, but not to less than one. Data missing in Features window: text from the "Other Features" field is not shown, appears blank in the two formats that display that detail. Display bug when changing title format: under Options > Display "Title Format" for each of the three modes the General Info window is updated, but the Collection List requires several forced refreshes to get the change to take place - e.g. by re-selecting that option repeatedly. (As an aside, can the Orig Title be shown elsewhere too, without changing the displayed title? Like how 2.x showed that field in the General area... very useful for quick lookups without disturbing the main display format. pleeaassee?? ) |

| Posted: | | | | I'll second Cyclograph here: it isn't possible to remove the final child from a boxset. The UI leads you to believe that it is gone, but if you look at the child and then try to look at the boxset contents of the parent, you'll find it still there. Database repair doesn't appear to fix it. A little nasty ... | | | -fred |

| Posted: | | | | It appears Parental Control is slightly broken, which may be a bit of a big problem for some people out there!
I set it to MPAA "Adult" then turned on Parental Control ... no effect.
I had to additionally check "hide adult titles in collection at startup" before it took effect (and turning that off means it ignores the "Parental Control is On" tool | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
