| Posted: | | | | Hi,
when i am updating my collection from the invelos servers, i get a lot of "can't download. continue anyway" errors. I figured that these will download later, but they don't. Instead they show up everytime and fail everytime. So i investigated a little further and found out, that all of these dvds are R3-DVDs from South Korea. Is anybody having the same problem? Or is there a solution already? I was wondering if it's a problem that korean dvds don't seem to have the last number of the UPC.
Here are 2 examples: 8-809082-380398 8-809122-570147

| Posted: | | | | It could just be that the DVD's that you are trying to update do not yet exsist in the "NEW" Invelos online DataBase.
Therefore, it may have nothing to do with the EAN number (This is either 13 digits, or may be 12, it all depends on the country of production for the DVD)
If you feel the information you have on your local database is correct (ie, you imported from 2.4/2.5) then you could always Contribute that profile to the online database
You could of course improve the profile that you may allready have before submitting it, even if you just add the Country of Origin tag
Hope that helps | | | Signature? We don't need no stinking... hang on, this has been done... blast [oooh now in Widescreen] Ah... well you see.... | Posted: | | | | Thanks for your reply FunkyLA. But DVDProfiler says that there is an updated version of that dvd on the invelos server. When i try to download it an "cant download" error comes up and i'd guess that profiler wouldn't say that there is a newer version, if the dvd wasn't on the invelos server at all. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Ken, i have Kaspersky Internet Security on my PC. I never would have guessed that it would block only korean dvds. Is there any explanation? Does Kaspersky consider koreans to be very dangerous ...but it works fine after disabeling the kaspersky suite. Greetings Stefan |

| Posted: | | | | Who knows? Filtering software doesn't usually publish the rules they use, for obvious reasons. All I know is it caused us some headaches in testing until we figured it out. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |
