I was so close to getting the Blu-ray set. But i dont like the 3rd movie, and i was going to wait for Warnr to release the others as singles...like they did with the Oceans 11, 12 and 13 Blu-ray discs. THEN, Deep Discount had to go and have a sale. So i went and bought the other 3 i wanted, at about $7.50 each. for me, that beats the $75 to $95 price i saw on the Blu boxset.  But i was still tempted!

I say "Kcock yourself out!"

As I know from my own painful experience, reading the rules is one thing, understanding them is quite another! There are no better way to actually understand them than well-commented no-votes.

I agree, Rander! Believe it or not, I got sometimes green arrows for my commented no-votes! Those users seem to understand the voting system IMHO!

True! I've gotten a few of those too...

What I usually do for newly released discs is try and find a review on them, and if the Blu ray knocks the standard discs by three fold,, go for it.., but for a series of old Warner bros films that are going on 2 score in age I can't imagine a major restoration-  unless I check the reviews on this box set of which I haven't.,,,  but it looks like it only garners a B grade ...

Maybe the usual cast of characters who would contribute these titles did what I did and bought the Ultimate Collector's Edition -- which has all the Dirty Harry discs but doesn't have the individual release cover art since it's packaged differently -- and doesn't include UPCs for the discs.  You can't scan what you don't have.

Or they have bought the five individuals disc at the release day, made a complete profile audit for each of them and the cover scan for each of them too. But they prefer to keep their works since they don't like how the system work.

Could be.  I haven't taken the time to look at the individual films myself, so I can't complain to loudly.
