I'll give you a qualified yes toi that. First you have to understand that most of the time MSRP is a movable target that will vary within a relatively narrow range from Retailer to Retailer based on their own individual policies., unless THE diustributor has sent out press release, but even then then the "stores'" policies will dictate their version of SRP. Which is why the Rules state don't change the SRP for pennies, #34.95 is for all intents and purposes identical to $34.99.

As for release date info again yes, but I personally use at least TWO different sources on all such data for verification purposes.

Yes source EVERYTHING, that sounds harder than it is, usually. Cast and Crew data edited and oredited per ACTUAL film credits....is usually sufficient. As long as that is not found to be untrue, and I am not talking about typos or other totally human errors.

Skip

cast/crew i take from the film credits, i normally check sites such as dvdactive/dvdtimes for details about release dates.

@ zwoti:
Since you're in the UK, find-dvd.co.uk is usually a good starting point to find RRP's and Release Dates (as well as good deals...) for UK releases, but make sure to verify the info you get there against a few of the webshops that same website will give you for that title - I've encountered cases where they were wrong.

Other forms of "sourcing" include mentioning specific tools you use to verify the info in some DVDP fields, e.g. mention a tool like PowerDVD for verifying running time, video format, audio tracks and subtitles and a tool like DVDInfoPro for verifying regions and single/double layer.

Same here; AIUI Find-dvd only uses a single source (I forget which one!) for RRP and release dates so alwasy check a few of the etailers themselves.
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

I am sure I have had a new contribution Declined on the basis of using Find-DVD as source of RRP and release date, so by all means use, but ensure that you back it up with other sites as per previous suggestions.

Strange - I'm sure I've had new contributions approved mentioning the same source.

Oh well, even the screeners are human...
