Just as I demostrated, forum scales the window if you enter character lines long enough, which sucks. Same thing happens if someone links a picture that is wide enough. Bad forum design, that's all. I edited my previous post, cause I think that I made my point loud and clear. Long rows are horrible to read and windows width should be restricted. If you link a picture wider than max width, the picture should be scaled down. I believe that page 3 is wider than usual because of the pictures Jimmy linked, but I'm not sure. Could you remove those pictures Jimmy so we could see if they are the cause for the extra width? | | | Last edited: by Kulju |

But that is not the case..... I am seeing pages 1,2 & 3 as all much wider. And it can't be Jimmy's images causing it to be so wide.... because mine is showing the width to be much wider then the images. As you can see with this image... CLICK HEREIf it was only the image doing it... it would be just as wide as the image. Not much wider as the image shows. And here is another image on how I normally see the site... CLICK HEREThat is a heck of a difference. | | | Pete |

Look at the icons to the right of the posted date for each post. Everyone's line up vertically except for bbbbb's. Check out his posts in other threads--you will see the same thing. --------------- |

The image can't be the problem as they enter in the normal screen. The problem is the quoted text box that are much longer than the quoted text. edit : just to show it isn't the screen capture | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |

I just discovered that it looks like my image only if I view the site in "compatibility view". If not, the view is still "wide" but all posts look the same. You'll notice that this page is not "wide" because bbbbb has not posted to it. --------------- |
