| | Posted: | | | | The thread you linked to indeed does show that there are more David Arnolds, but you've quoted the wrong part here. As we've established in that same thread, sound editor David A. Arnold's common name is indeed David A. Arnold. Therefore if it were just the two of them, birth years wouldn't be needed (nor allowed) - we would distinguish between them by common name only.
But since there are several more David Arnolds, the birth year for the composer indeed is needed. So the end result is pretty much the same - yes, the composer gets a birth year - but it's not because of the sound editor, but only because of the other David Arnold's. | | | | Last edited: by T!M |
