| Posted: | | | | Been a while for any updates on laser rot specifically for warner Bros DVDs manufactured between 2005 to 2008. According to this article it may be quite a few titles. If you encounter a defective dvd you maybe able to have it replaced if said title is in stock. And please place your Notices for us here. http://www.joblo.com/hundreds-maybe-thousands-of-your-warner-bros-dvds-dont-work-anymore/amp/ | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | I have a number of WB DVDs that will no longer play completely, but fortunately I was able to get most of them onto my Plex server before this happened. For some of the others, superior Blu-ray editions have been released and I've upgraded (as I probably would have anyway.) There are a few that I've had to record off of TCM until such time as a new disc is available.

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, I've had 15 DVDs from warner rot form that time period, that feeze at the layer change. I know people that have 100+ succumb to it and it hits televisions season sets the hardest | | | Never judge a movie by its sequel or remake |

| Posted: | | | | In this case, it's actually disc rot, not laser rot.
The term "laser rot" refers only to LaserDiscs, specifically to the appearance of video and audio artifacts when playing back the disc. | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." |
