The fact that the child profiles are optional makes all other arguments irrelevant imho. That tells me that all bonus features should be listed in the main profile. Otherwise, they cannot be optional.
As for region info, I do use the region coding of the blu-ray disc locally for the main profile, if I can be bothered to check it. | Posted: Topic Replies: 26, Topic Views: 498 |

I think it's just thumbs from profiles you preview, but then decide not to download the full profile for.
Should be easy enough to confirm. Clean out your unused, preview a new profile and then run your tool again. | Posted: Topic Replies: 8, Topic Views: 593 |

Those who only have Windows 10/11 have no other option than to contribute what they have.
Me: I still have AnyDVD so I will continue to contribute the old style disc IDs. | Posted: Topic Replies: 13, Topic Views: 1774 |

The contribution rules are pretty clear that these are included in Deleted Scenes:
Quote: Deleted Scenes, Alternate Scenes, Alternate endings available through a separate menu option, and not incorporated into the main feature or a documentary. | Posted: Topic Replies: 2, Topic Views: 338 |

Phenomena: Arrow Limited Edition (with the Creepers cover though) An American Werewolf in London: Arrow Limited Edition (time to retire my DVD from 2001!) Robocop: Arrow Limited Edition (yes I know, I have three editions of this movie already but it's one of my favorite 80s movies. This will be the last time I buy it though, promise!) So should the documentary have it's own child profile, attached to the main feature film?
When does a documentary become a bonus feature film, and not just bonus material? | Posted: Topic Replies: 17, Topic Views: 3548 |

The name is likely already in the database, albeit entered with a different parsing. Thus the parsing you submit will not change it but you will see it as a "change" since it doesn't match what you have. Whether you choose to accept the change or not will not actually change anything in your local database since parsing is ignored when downloading existing names. | Posted: Topic Replies: 11, Topic Views: 2159 |

FYI I just bought a new iPad and of course downloaded DVD Profiler and it's working just fine. I would have loved to buy an Android tablet but really Apple runs circles around the competition in this price range. | Posted: Topic Replies: 13, Topic Views: 5601 |

American Werewolf in the picture above I would say definitely qualifies as a slipcase. For a keep case + slip cover I would not expect anything else than exactly that, a standard keep case with an individual slip cover attached. Just think about it, these Arrow Limited Editions are often re-released in standard keep case edtions after a while. Are you seriously suggesting that both releases should be entered with the same case type in the database? Then what purpose does the field serve that makes it meaningful to track at all? | Posted: Topic Replies: 11, Topic Views: 3712 |

It's a slip case since it holds more than one item together.
If you enter it as a digibook with slip cover checked, I would expect the digibook to have an individual slip cover. Going by the picture, it doesn't. | Posted: Topic Replies: 11, Topic Views: 3712 |

Populating profiles with subjective data to "fix" a limitation of the CLT is the wrong way to go about it.
If anything, the original title should be the title of the series taken from the credits and nothing else. | Posted: Topic Replies: 24, Topic Views: 5740 |

There are still a few options:
Download and install the apk from a trusted source (always a bit risky though).
Use a backup tool to transfer the app from your old phone to the new (requires root).
Pick up a cheap older phone/tablet just to run DVD Profiler.
The last option is probably your safest bet. | Posted: Topic Replies: 13, Topic Views: 5601 |

It looks like the poll was a dead race between the do's and do not's. (24-24).
