| Posted: | | | | SelectedInfoThe tool that I mentioned in General Discussions ("I need your input!) is now done: Note that it requires mediadogg's plugin HTTPJolie version 1.21 or later. Rich click in the window for a context menu: Select View Help to read all about it! Download version 1.0 here. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | In case anyone is wondering what "Right aligned" means: If you, for example, place SelectedInfo against the right edge of one of Profiler's subwindow, you may want it to expand inwards, e.g. to the left, rather than spilling over into the next subwindow. With "Right aligned" SelectedInfo's right edge stays in the same position and expands as needed to the left. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

There is still a bug where on some systems, DVD Profiler needs to be running elevated both for TCP and HTTP requests. This happens even on my own network, and I don't know why this happens on one computer and not the other. But if you have the patience to try again, let me know. And just in case you forgot, HTTPJolie / Profiler do not need to be running on the same computer as the tool. Maybe that will allow you enough flexibility to get things going. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | SelectedInfo 1.1Here is an enhancement that I had wanted for the initial release, but I couldn't find a way to accomplish it. But this morning I had a Eureka moment... SelectedInfo now minimizes itself if focus is not on DVD Profiler (or on SelectedInfo itself). That way it stays out of the way if you switch to another application, or if you minimize DVD Profiler. In addition to that, I have added a new option, ShowInTaskbar. If you don't want to see SelectedInfo's icon in the taskbar, just uncheck this in the context menu. Finally I have added a check to make sure you don't start more than one instance of SelectedInfo. That wouldn't work, and it's easy to make that mistake now that SelectedInfo can be hidden. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Gunar, I downloaded and installed SelectedInfo 1.1 However, I cannot get it to work, I am sure it is nothing to do with your plug-in. I never could get HTTPJolie to run in the HTTP mode, and now it does not seem to work in the TCP mode either. I have already spent way too much time trying to get HTTPJolie to run correctly, and don't want to invest more time in getting HTTPJolie to run. I like using your DVDProfiler add-on programs, but will no longer try to use those, that work thru HTTPJolie. Thanks, Zappman UPDATEQuoting mediadogg: Quote: Quoting mreeder50:

But now SelectedInfo is giving me an error on start-up, will post picture of the error in another post. | | | Last edited: by zappman |

Understandable. Sorry for your troubles. I get nothing out of people using it except the satisfaction of helping others, so I'm sorry that it doesn't help you. But if it is at all possible, the only way I know I am making progress, is from users. So, sometime in the future, and you are so inclined. grab an updated release and just see if it works. No extensive testing. Just type the "ping" command into a browser. 1 minute test. Thanks in advance. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Thanks in advance. Please read my 12:17 PM update to my September 23, 2021 11:37 AM post. Running in the elevated mode got HTTPJolie running in the TCP mode. | | | Last edited: by zappman |

| Posted: | | | | Great, now what I need to do is figure out why elevation is required on some systems, and not others. By the way, I wonder which version you have. I have authorized Gunnar to distribute whatever version he is testing with, to his users. But I will send you a link to the latest (unreleased) via PM. There might be features I have recently added or fixed at Gunnar's request. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! Not sure that will change anything, given the functions you are using. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |
