When upgrading from 2.5 to 3.0, the new program flagged the UPCs that were not successfully converted. During the downtime, as many of us were doing, I was using a combination of 2.5 and 3.0 (downloading new profiles in 2.5 and then restoring them in 3.0). I realized that I overwrote the flagged unconverted UPCs when doing this.

Is there anyway to screen my now complete 3.0 collection for all the UPCs that were not converted? I can then contribute them.

Thanks!!!
Ben

In the Flags submenu (within the Collection menu, I believe), there is the option to load a flag list. You should find a flad list called UncobvertedUPCs.lst (or similar). Open that and the program will flag the unconverted profiles.

Thanks for the reply ya_shin, but I'm actually looking for a way to re-generate that list within 3.0.

Thanks!

If you have a backup of 2.4/2.5, you could always re-import it.  Of course you might want to make a current backup of 3.0 if there is data you wouldn't want to over write.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

The txt file is still out there.  Just find it and open it (should be somewhere on C: drive in the system file area) with Notepad.  Look up each UPC or Disc ID and make whatever fix is needed.

just create a new database to restore the v2.4/5 data into - this will create a new list file which you can then use with your main v3 database.

Yes there is, but it's somewhat lengthy...

1. Rename your "Unconverted UPCs.LST" file to something else.
2. Create a trashcan database. Select it.
3. Import your 2.5 backup to your trashcan database (which will create a new "Unconverted UPCs.LST" file).
4. Select: Collection -> Flags -> Load Set - and select "Unconverted UPCs.LST". Load it.
5. Select: Collection -> Flags -> Invert Flagged - there is your profiles that where not converted.
6. Select: Collection -> Flags -> Save Set - and set a new name. Save it.
7. Kick the trashcan  database. Select your regular (untouched!!! I might add) database.

Don't forget, to select "Show Flag Indicators" in the Collection -> Flags - menu, so they show.
