  | | Posted: | | | | In the spirit of the Chick Flick coffee table book I am trying to create a report that shows small icons for a variety of genres, such as war, thriller, drama... My question pertains to movies with multiple genres.  How do I stack them so that only the first  (primary) genre is presented in images.
Here's an example of my issue: The movie Conspiracy Theory is classified as Suspense/Thriller, Romance.  So 2 genres, which means I could put two images with switches, saying if its in the genre, show the image.  So If I put Suspense in front of Romance, then it gets displayed, but if Romance is higher in the order, then it gets displayed.  So how do I deal with these types of issues?  Is there a way to distinguish genre order?  Or is there a better way to implement this?
Also, is it possible to group things?  And is there an API?  Maybe an XML export/import possibility? Cut and paste from report to report? |
