There's just one thing I didn't understand: Did Skip have DVD's in the 1950's? Or is it just that he haven't upgraded his computer since then? (I'd hate to think how Windows XP would perform on that thing!)

You'd be lucky if you could get DOS 1.0 to run on that thing.

Modern day watches have more computing power.

I had one of those, in fact still have it.  Oh, I was wrong it has 16K.  TI99/4a.  But it also had 26K ROM, so it's way tooo modern.

I remember developing a program for a businessman, a payroll program, that would run on his Radio Shack Pocket PC with 1.8K of RAM, it worked, he could start the program running on Thursday night before he left the office and come back Friday morning and have a payroll tape.
