| | Posted: | | | | Since I have got some problem with a contributor who are not very happy that I wrotte liyrics, in the song writter. Follow the description of hte dictionary LYRICS , comming from the latin Language Lyricus, and mean between other definition the following, who as written for music and song.I think LYRICS as a song Writter is corect. And the french translation from Lyrics by invelos are ( Parole ) very good transaltion since parole mean also the man who wrotte the words for a song. Sorry for this but when sommeone wrtting me, I dont care etc... not very pleasant message, I defending myself. I would like to give my apologies to all of you for my very bad english. Thank you for your answer, Yes you are right but I am sure, the song where writen for the movie by Paul Francis webster and the Music by Dimitri Tiomkin for the film Friendly Persuasion, and this is not the first time those two people working togeter.

Dimitri Tiomkin and Paul Francis Webster received an Academy Award nomination for the song "Friendly Persuasion (Thee I Love)"). This award is given for 'original songs' only. I found that information on the official Academy Awards sight.
