Hi,

Is there a facility that will allow me to view my movie collection in VMC? It would be great if I could just use the remote to view my movies rather than go and look on my main pc.

Regards

David

Unfortunately there is no good solution at this point - and it's hard to do anything about it as long as the plugin api is as limited as it is.

Personally I am just browsing my cover images according to category - I have made a small tool to create the folder structure based on the XML export - it can then be browsed as any other image folder.

MyMovies also allows loading the XML export, but I was never too impressed - I haven't looked at it lately, so it might be better now.

I was looking for the same thing, I did a search and found this.  Would be a nice feature if DVD Profiler could export to Media Center (Vista)

Are there any News on this one?

I would like to browse through the DVDs with title, cover, number and perhabs some movie details in VMC or MediaPortal, I don't need to add or change anything there.

Open Media Library

If something is missing in the DVD Profiler importer write on the Open Media Library forum. I did change a few things in the importer after the beta release so you probably want to use the daily build instead of the last beta. If you have media files on hard discs use the same comments in the notes field as the LoadDVD plugin uses to specify the location of the file.

Lars
