| | Posted: | | | | I think the underlying problem is that at present DVDP can't handle two movies on one side of a disc properly (other than using Episode Dividers). If this were resolved, so would the running times of the individual movies.
In all other cases (two movies on separate discs in one case, two movies each on one side of a disc within one case) you can have child profiles each of which can contain the running time for the individual movie. |

In my view, the problem would be easily solved if each DVDP profile had separate A, B and C sections: A. DVD, DVD information: case, overview, cover title, UPC, Locality and so on; B. FEATURE/common, Movie/TV show information: credits, Original title, CoO, Production studios, and so on. C. FEATURE/specific, Movie/TV show information specific to each profile: runnning time, audio tracks, subtitles, and so on. When a DVD contains multiple features, just add more B and C sections (B1 C1, B2 C2, B3 C3, etc.). Yes, but because of PAL speedup the running time would belong to the DVD specific information, not the movie specific data. | | | | Michael |

Agree, but in that case I would use B section for movie information that tipically doesn't change in different editions of the same movie, such as Original Title, CoO, Production Studios, Cast & Crew (except for a few exceptions that could be handled), so that you wouldn't need to enter all those data again and again, and a C section for movie information that is specific to each profile, like running times, which can vary with editions and localities. | | | | -- Enry | | | | Last edited: by White Pongo, Jr. |

I understand what you say, but I think running time belongs to the movie (content) information, not to the DVD (media&packaging) data.
