For this new box set of Harry Potter Years 1-5: Limited Edition Collection Blu-Ray, how can I submit the child Blu-Ray disc without a Blu-Ray reader on my laptop for the disk id and no UPC?

Any idea how to do this?

I would have to say,, being unable to read the disc ID ( is there disc ID on Blu-Ray or HD ??),, these titles and others like it will have to not be chosen as children from box set but individual items.
The whole idea of having disc ID is for your laptop or my PC to be able to read that disc being placed in the drive and then calibrate it back to the title itself in  the Invelos DVD profilerprogram .,

without that disc ID or the ability to play that disc, there is really no point in incorporating the Disc ID..
which of course is bound to lead to other problems such as running times and audio characteristics., those will have to chosen from the information  on the case only, even if it is wrong.

I created profiles for my HD DVD set, but have to make them manual profiles.  Thus I have no way to submit them.  But I'm happy to share them if anyone needs them.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.

I just chose the standalone HD DVD profiles as a child profile for my box set.  It gives me the necessary information about the movies and with the exception of Order of the Phoenix, the profiles are identical to the box set discs (other than the disc art and lack of cover scan).

Yes, both Blu-ray and HD DVD have DiscIDs.  MyMovies for Media Center is able to read them off the discs (I use my HD DVD player for my 360 hooked up to my Vista machine to read mine).  I hope this gets implemented real soon for Profiler as the Potter and Mission Impossible boxsets need to be done properly.
Gotta nip it in the bud, Andy!

I remember reading a short while ago that Ken had invested in HD drives just so he could start programming this into Profiler. So I think it's going to be a case of a bit of patience for now before this feature will be added.

DVDProfiler should be able to read the disc ID without having AnyDVD running just like it can read the disc ID from an out of region DVD without AnyDVD running. You only need AnyDVD to play the discs because of the secure path crap.
