And you have the right for your flame-baiting behavior to be responded to SIR. And that is nothing more than what it is FLAME-BAITING.

If that is true...it seems to have worked, hasn't it!

You're so easy, Skip!

Oh and calling me bigoted was approprriate, Neill? Give me a break You have one set of behavior for you and one for me. Sorry, my friend, I am not buying what you are selling. Ah but I see you are exercising your voice. what a surprise.

When you make anti-gay and racist comments in the open forum, yes, calling you a bigot was appropriate.
What else should I, or anyone else do? Let you carry on being abusive?

Anyway, this is entirely off the subject.

Stop accusing me of things I did NOT do.

I DID call you a bigot - end of story. I've admitted it - everyone saw me do it. There is written proof in this forum that I did it.

I DID NOT intentionally circumvent the contributions rules for my own gain. You have no proof that I did. You are merely being vicious for the sake of being mean. I see no gain in what you are attempting to do.

Please stop.

Neill:

You did what you did and I have stated my view of your actions. That view is not intended to mean, it simply my assessment of your actions. If you don't like how I view it...that's tough...you have judged me...and I have judged you. There are NUMEROUS with whom I have a very cordial and friendly relationship, we can disagree on ideas, they make no attempt to judge me and i make no attempt to judge them, nor do i pretend to read more into their writings than is there, as some here do.

The facts Neill are simple. You tried toi make a Contribution and was told by several users, not simply myself, that they viewed it as against the Rules. You then took deliberate steps to circumvent those opinions, you may have meant well, but you were still circumventing the opinions of several users who had told you you were wrong. In point of fact my initial vote for you was yes, and I was called on it by another user, and I went and evaluated the Rule myself before changing my vote to No. I told you privately that I understood what you were doing and why and in fact agreed with it. But that doesn't change the fact that despite my personal agreement, in view of the Rules as they are right now I don't see a way to back you. If there was I would. Does the Rule need to be modified  absolutely...had I the ability to do so, I would have done so as soon as this came up. But that isn't in my wheelhouse, I can only make note of it, as I have many other Rules mods....and wait.<shrugs>

Not a thing I can do, on this one unitl Ken chooses to fix it. I wish there was another answer.

But also as I have said, unlike you I have not caled you any kind name nor will I ever. I think it is a shame that you feel free to sit and judgement and call others names. I forgave you for it long ago, but I won't forget it anytime soon, I wish I could, but I deal in ideas not personal attacks, though I will confess sometimes when I really feel put upon I will on ocassion respond in kind, I thnk that is normal, but I do try to resist it.

Skip

I see where you're coming from.

However, here is the problem. As far as I am concerned I read the rules correctly and submitted in accordance with them. Just because YOU say otherwise does not make you right.

Also - you could have phrased your comments earlier in the way you have above; in a less accusatory manner that was not insulting.

I simply see a correct way to do this and and incorrect way and you chose the wrong way.It is what it is. No malice, no judgement , no nothing.

I am sorry, but no.  Pantheon didn't choose 'the wrong way', he chose a different way.  Would I have done it that way?  No.  Would you have done it that way?  Probably not.  But that does not mean your way, or my way, is the right way and his is the wrong way.  The only people who can  make that decision are Ken and Gerri.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

We have here forum rules, contribution rules, but nobody should ignore Skip's rules:

1/ Skip is always right
2/ When Skip is wrong, he is right to be wrong
3/ When Skip says something and some days after, just the contrary, only him may decide which version you have wrongly understood.
4/ Skip is often insulted, but he never insults anybody. If you think you are insulted by him, it is because you are too stupid to understand it is a funny joke.
5/ Skip tells you what to do or not do, and always gives the good example. For instance, you must not use headshots for the database on the site. This is why he took a photo of himself as an avatar.
6/ Skip never lies...
7/ When contributions rules are not clear, only Skip should be allowed to suggest  Ken what to do.
8/ If you do not follow Skip's rules, you'll intentionally sabotage the online database.

I know you think you're trying to be funny by posting this, but my friend it was really uncalled for.  Although in this case I do not agree with Skip's (and other's) side on this matter (I happen to agree with Pantheon) I am removed enough to see that both side's argument has merit - there is no cause to have a laugh at Skip's expense publicly.

Please apologize.
Peter

I I expect that you still do a full audit to ensure that the Canadian Locality discs match the US locality discs, otherwise you are in clear violation of the rules as your the data you would be submitting would not be from the disc.

I KNOW they are the same for this title.
<= Check out the flag.

And I never said anything about the US locality in any case. Personally I have a policy about not submitting Canadian profiles on releases where they are identical on both sides of the border except for the SRP. I don't see the point of cluttering the DB with effectively identical profiles. I only submit a Canadian profile when there is a variation in packaging or content. Lately that seems to be more often the case, but the Bewitched discs only come in one flavour R1 wide.

I cqnnot swear that this is true for the colourized seasons as I own the B & W.

Just to add my 2 cents worth... I was out of town most of last week, so I am a little late to the party...

If you only have a partial cast list, there is nothing in the rules to stop you from sending that in for a contribution. It seems perfectly reasonable to me - perhaps you only have time to get partially through the credits.

I am going to lock this thread, since it has gone careening down another path, and has somewhat been sidetracked from Pantheon's original question.
