Mobile is VPA compact (Vodafone): CPU OMAP850, 195 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 128 MB Flash, 2GB Mini-SD, LCD 240x320)
With Windows Mobile 5 (OS 5.1.195 Build 14847.2.0.0)
Software on Mobile: DVD Profiler Mobile 1.1.0.122
Software von Windows XP: DVD Profiler 3.1.1 Build 1171. Windows XP is on VMWare on a Linux system
I have installed first NET compact 2.0, than DVD Profiler Mobile. At the beginning I have problems to install NET. After a reboot from my mobile phone the installation worked.
Now I try to synchronized to my mobile. If I syncronize with the option (german): "Aktuelle und zukünftige Erscheinungen" (english translate: "Current and future appearances") the syncronization hangs on this (the last) option. If I do not synchronize with this option, the DVD Profile said: "Synchronization completed".
But if I start the DVD Profile Mobile and try to click on "My Collection / Owned" (and the most other menu points) I become the message: "Collection Not found" - "Please synchronize your collection with DVD Proviler". If I click on "About" it say: "Last Synchronized: 10.03.08 - 8:13", a few minutes ago.
If I go to the setting (from "About it") and look at "Database/Edit Users" I see the user, who is also on the DVD Profiler on Windows.
The DVD-Profile Mobile is installed on the Flash memory (it will not be installed on the storage card). The Sync-data are installed on the storage card. This is strange: If I start my Total Commander (software similar Windows Explorer) and I try to go in the directory "DVD Profiler Mobile" on the storage card, I become the message: "Error 13 at change directory". With the Windows Explorer I can change in this directory but it is empty.
I have deinstalled DVD Explorer Mobile two times and installed it, but it doesent work. What's wrong? What can I do?

| | Posted: | | | | I think its got confused because of the name of the directory used for dvd profiler. I don't have my copy with me but you should be able to install on the storage card. If you have installed on the main flash memory then check what the name of the program directory is? Have a look here where a solution is given. | | Posted: | | | | I have read the thread now. But I have an other error. The synchronize from Windows works, DVD Profiler said: "Synchronization completed". But the DVD Profiler Mobile does'nt found the database.
The program is installed on /Programme/DVD Proviler Mobile. I have no chance to install on other directories. On the installation process I only can say "Storage card" or "RAM". On "Storage Card" I got an error, that this will not work, I must install on RAM.
After that I try the following: I create a directory "Program files" and move the programm from "Programme" to that manually. But it does'nt matter, after the sync process the DVD Profiler Mobile said: "Collection not found".
What can I do? |

Anmu Have you installed the data on the storage card? And what is the directory name used there? Its possble the program is ok, and the synchronisation is working but when it looks for the data in the program it isn't looking at where the data is being stored. | | | | Paul |
