Note to GSren:

Let it go.  It is patently clear that you are showing your animus toward Skip --- and it has absolutely nothing to do with how "Don" is parsed in this thread.  Please take your ill feelings toward Skip somewhere else -- it serves no useful purpose here.

Hm, yes, I guess you might be right. Skip has had a tendency to always wriggle out of any discussion where he couldn't defend his position, and has done so in a way that has often irritated me. I guess that may have made me suspect his motives anytime he uses the "apples and pears" argument or any number of other arguments.

If I have let my suspicions towards Skip's argumentation techniques derail this thread I apologize to you and the other thread participants. I'll try to restrain myself in the future.

Well, on that point I partially disagree, but I would have to reopen the François can of worms in order to illustrate my point further, and I think it's best to not do so, so I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on that point.

Here you go again., Gunnar. I don't wriggle out ot anything, it's not my fault you have a comprehension problem as i have repeatedly demonstrated and told you. Once again you graphically demonstrate personal issues.

I don't know what the deal is. Perhaps your brain is wired differently than mine, which is entiely possible, but you clearly don't follow my train of thought. This could simply be too different ways of thinking or intentional on your part and only you know that answer and I don't care what it is. I only know I am tired of it, whichever it is.

You can disagree and you are welcome to your opinion, BUT when your opinion is based upon trying to superimpose your opinion, even AFTER you have been told not just by me that you are not understanding, then we are going to butt heads everytime. I suggest you read what IU say, and try real hard to understand it before you say anything. From my own personal viewpoint, you very simply just want to be argumentative and disagreeable. I have seen this and called you on it numerous time, yet you repeatedly do it. Sorry, guy, that's the way i see it.

Your opinion and welcome to it. But when you are deliberately attempting to spin in order to try to discredit and you are told you are wrong, then you are wrong. The its time to back off.

Anything else i might say would probably cross the line and I don't want to do that.

You're more right than you know. The expression in Swedish is actually "apples and pears" (possibly because we don't grow oranges here...) So I just forgot to take the culture into consideration when I mentally translated the sentence into English.
