except that Cubby seems to be talking about the animated Speed Racer which is already out on DVD which would explain how he is making statements about whats in the credits, where you seem to be talking about the new movie that comes out on the 9th, in which case any profile would be a pre-release and therefore the profile wouldn't contain any credit information

Ok, my mistake. I knew there was a new movie coming... should have checked when.

If it's the original TV series from the 60's there are two sets of Staff. The original Japanese staff, and the English staff.

The Japanese director was Tatsuo Yoshida, for the English version there is a Voice/ADR director Peter Fernandez but no Director since it's just an edited dub.

So it looks like there is no Director credit (Voice director is not a director) but I would give Peter a writing credit.

Tatsuo Yoshida should get OMB & OCB.
