It's possible that they caught the subtitling error early on in the pressing process, but some copies and preview copies (for the reviews) were still released.
I would still allow the submission to go through, but make sure your notes say that some copies don't have subtitles. That should stop the ping-ponging.

I wonder if it is also possible one could be R1 US and the other be R! Canadian. I don't know if that is the case and if it is possible he got ahold of a Canadian version... but I can at least say mine has no signs of being a Canadian version... no Canadian flag or rating on the cover-art

Is it possible to submit one on the disc ID or do both versions have the same ID too?

Edit: and from a database point of view, I find it easier to remove than add, so I would have the subtitles in the online database and let those without them remove them.

Not sure... I will have to check that when I get the chance

Good point, a bilingual country like Canada is more likely to have subtitles than the US. Do the subtitles include French?

My copy was bought in Montreal, nothing distinctly Canadian about the case, cover seems identical to the one in the DB, as does the DiscID. And there are French and spanish subtitles accessible though the menu and verified on the screen.

Mine is different than yours, but was still identified by profiler as the right title. Must be more than one ID in the DB:

A4A01D2262486259 [SUPERMAN_BRAINIAC_ATTACKS]

Purchased from Future Shop (Centreville location if I recall correctly) 6/20/06... the day it was released.

Well if it was a mastering error early in the run, as sems likely since the cover was clearly printed with the understanding that this release had subtitles, it makes more sense to me to have the subtitles included in the profile. My 2 cents.

According to the Contributions Bob9000 is the Original Contributer. So his Info is first, If he has the same disc as I do them I guess we go ahead with the subtitles. But will note in my contribution that other version dont have subtitles.

Correct me if I am wrong... but doesn't this mean one of them can be added by disc id then?

Yes I think so. You can create a new profile for this title with your ID. Just transfer over the info that does match.

Virgin Mega Store, so that's where they get theor 72 Virgins.

Yes the Disc Id will work. It is possible to also have duplicate entries for ONE UPC #, BUT that must be done Ken and is done rarely, exceedingly so, I don't think the subs warrant that answer, but the Disc ID would work.

I contributed under disc id this morning... explaining the situation. And was just approved. So anyone... like me... that has a version without the subtitles can get the profile first thing tomorrow.
