I don't know about anybody else, but I'm fonding it very confusing to find just what and when all the capabilities the players/recorders do or will do. And what and when the released discs will do.Blu-ray Disc what other sites have you found? | | | | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it.

When I start look for new hardware, I will go to that manufacturers website, read their bumph, view , if they have it online, the owners manual for that machine, to see what the machine is / isn't capable of. Then do a search on Google "review + (machine name here)" leave the area options open to include world wide, then start going through them, there's bound to be a hardware magazine somewhere in the world that has had the machine in their labs for a good testing. If you are looking for a player definately check this out. It's what I used to buy my player. I ended up with the Panasonic DMP-BD30. I didn't want to wait for the BD50 (profile 2.0) player to come out. It's only just introduced, the price is too high in my opinion, and I don't care for web-content. What was really important for me was profile 1.1 capabilities  and bitstream output for TrueHD and MasterDTS. Hope this helps.
