just had an idea, and i haven't played with this plugin yet (no time ) so it may already be possible. Along the lines of savings per store. what about average dvd price per store.

Ken just posted a preliminary feature add/change list for 3.5 beta, and the headshots are changing dramatically so... we will most likely have to wait and see for a while on this. Hopefully it can be done because i would enjoy this as well.

I just saw the list.  Looks awesome.  But remember, just because the program gets new features doesn't mean that he'll add the right code in for plug-ins to access those new features.  I'm guessing he will, but it's not certain.

You should play with it.  It won't show you an average price, but you do get the total spent along with the amount you've purchased.  So it's a simple division.  I suppose I could add the average price (purchase price I'm assuming) if enough people really, really want it.  Or you could just grab a calculator.  Or even use the one build into Windows.  My concern being that displaying more columns gives the other columns less space to display their data.

If I use my Dutch translation of DVD Profiler and I click on a found genre after a query I get "No data selected.". I can see the total number of individual genres though.

In order to see the profiles of a certain genre I first have to restart DVD Profiler with the original English language and then need to re-run the Database Query.

Yes, right now the plug-in only works with English.  I had to build a list by hand of the Genres, so they're all in English.  I've requested a new feature for plug-ins that would help with this and hope that Ken addresses it soon.  It's the same with case types, ratings, subtitles, country of origin and a lot more.

If Ken doesn't come through on the request, then I could look into other ideas.

I'm going to try to get the query to find all profiles with uncredited actors done today.  Are there any other requests before I get that put up?  After this version I'll probably take a short break and wait for 3.5, so if you have something, this is the time to ask for it.

How about what?

You can already list by year and decade under Production Year.  You can also list by year and/or month on Release Date and Purchase Date.  Decade doesn't make much sense on either of those.  I'm not sure what is missing at this point.

Actually what I meant was, percentage of profiles in a given decade.

That's been there from the beginning as shown in this old screenshot from the website:

Thanks for showing me that. I've only had your program for a couple days so far, and still haven't learned all of its abilities.

Mark, thanks for this great tool! Using the newest features $/Source, I discovered several profiles with incorrect SRP info and one disc that had a purchase price of $550.00 instead of the correct $5.50.
