Thanks to Squirrel for picking out a cast update I got from the DB unnecessarily. | Posted: | | | | Re-Add of the new coverscans. First of all: Thanx for the remarks on the red level of the previous contribution. I tweaked the color balance a bit and this time came up with stronger red levels. As with almost every reflective cover, you may see a different saturation of the surface, depending on the light environment and angle looked at. Also the jpeg compression algorithm can be a real problem. Compressing highly saturated colors with it can result in loss of color balance (saturation) and compression damage (plus you have to stay within the 200KByte Limit). Done with that contribution: - Improved red and black levels (the sleeve itself is matt black and not dark-grey) - Improved color balance (the bars on the lower slipcover are grey and not olive-green) - Less compression damage with less oversaturation Maybe you like it better this time. ;-) Evaluate this contribution Profile Contribution Declined Jan 8 2008 12:23PM Image Contribution Declined Jan 8 2008 12:23PM |

| Posted: | | | | I saw PsychoM@n's cover scans and though I feel personally that they are better than the existing scans, I agree with those who felt it was too dark. Here is my scan of the covers. If you compare mine to the actual DVD packaging you should see that the "black" area is really more like a "blackboard black" or charcoal color. I also feel the red areas in mine scan also reveal more detail, (especially on the front scan), than in the existing scans. Evaluate this contribution |

| Posted: | | | | Added new coverscans with less compression damage and finer details. Also the cardboard matt-black should be closer to the actual package, as the exisiting ones have a slight yellowness (at least on the front cover, also seen on the bars on the lower part of the slip cover, which are actually grey).
